2-Way Messaging in SMS Global

Once you have connected your Simple Inked account to your SMS Global account via the steps here, you're ready to set up your 2-way messaging.

This means that when client replies with the word Yes to their SMS Reminder, the letter C (for Confirmed) will automatically display on their appointment.

Enabling 2-Way Messaging in SMS Global

Log into your Simple Inked account and go to Admin, then go to the SMS & Email tab.

In the SMS Account Setup section, click Log In next to your credit balance.

Log into SMS Global and click the cog icon Screen_Shot_2018-04-30_at_2.05.32_PM.pngup in the top right corner. From the drop-down menu, choose SMS Settings.

Scroll down until you see the Post replies to URL section.

In the Post replies to URL field enter the following URL:

https://app.simpleinked.com/SMSResponse.aspx

NOTE: Ensure that you enter the above URL exactly, otherwise it won't work.

When you're ready, click Update Settings.

Your setting will be updated.

All done. You've set up your 2-way messaging.

Now when clients reply with the word Yes to their SMS Reminder, the letter C (for Confirmed) will automatically display on their appointment.
