When you Accept an online booking, your nominated credit card will be charged a small 3.9% booking fee. For example, if the online booking amount is $100, the booking fee is $3.90.
You can nominate a credit card one of two ways—enter your credit card details after you Accept an online appointment, or via the Online section of your Simple Inked account.
Nominate a credit card at the time you accept an online booking
Go to the Online section of your Simple Inked account.
Note: The number in the green circle represents the number of pending online bookings you have. These pending bookings need to be accepted in order to become a confirmed appointment.
Click Accept next to the booking.
You will be notified of the total booking amount which the client will pay, and the small transaction fee which is charged to your nominated credit card. When you're ready, click Next.
If you haven't yet nominated a credit card for the online booking transaction fee, you will be prompted to enter credit card details. Enter the credit card details, then click Accept.
Your nominated credit card details will be saved. This is the card that will be used for the booking fee for future online bookings.
Nominate a credit card via the Online menu option
In the Online section of your Simple Inked account, go to Admin.
Expand the Payment Settings section, enter your credit card details, and click Save.
Also, under the Booking Payment section, choose Pay At Studio or Pay Upfront and Save. For more details about what these options mean, click here.
