Making appointments for Rooms or Resources. No more double booking.

We understand that some of your services and treatments will require a room. The last thing you want is confusion and double bookings, we've got you sorted. Here we demonstrate how you can create and manage bookings using your resources and rooms. You'll never be caught out with a double booking again.

Setting up your Rooms and Resources.

To begin, we need to set up our rooms, or Resources. You should be quite familiar with your Admin page by now, that's where we are headed. In Admin, select your Lists tab, and drop down the menu to click Resources.

Click New and give it a Resource Name and Description on the right side panel. The Description is describing what happens in this room. Now Save.

Continue doing this until you have created all of your rooms / resources.

Assigning your Services to your Rooms/Resources.

Next step is to assign your Services to the Resources. Pop over to the Services tab, still in Admin. Edit one of the services which requires a room or resource when it is used in a booking.

On the right side panel, tick Requires Resource and Save

The Resources link will now displayed in the service row.

Click the Resources link and Add Resource.

On the right side panel select from the drop down menu the room/resource which the service needs to book into, and Save.

Your service now knows where to go when booked in. You can continue adding resources to the service, one service can be set up to go to more than one room. If the service has multiple room/resource options, it will try the first available one.

Go through all of your services which require a room/resource and add resources to them.

Booking an appointment for a service which requires a room or resource.

Choose time slot in operator column, search for the client, click their name in Search Results and in the Select Services window you'll notice a (R) next to the service. This is to indicate that this service has been set up to go to a room.

Confirm the appointment here and check out your Appointment page.

The service has been booked in with the operators, and if you click the red Appointments menu and then Show Resources you'll see the second layer to your appointment book, the Rooms / Resource columns.

You can flick between the Operators Appointments and the Resources Appointments using the red Appointments menu.

You're done! You'll never be caught out with a double booking again.
